January Wrap-Up

I'm going to try really hard to get back to regularly scheduled blogging but I just don't know if I will or not. We'll see!!  I'm just gonna have to wrap up January and then maybe get back to weekly blogging again!  Also, I am doing this on my iPad because I think my laptop has finally bit the dust....have to get a new one of those soon, especially with school starting back in March!  I'm so slow at typing on the iPad 😜

New Years Eve!!  Niki had a hair appointment so I met her out to do some shopping.  Her mom met us also and we went to Chili's to eat.  We ordered the tropical sunrise margaritas....OMG!!  So good!!!

New Years

Oh New Years Eve.....every year, we always talk about how next year we're gonna actually make plans early, well that never happens!!  This year we had plans for dinner and then were just gonna all hang out and play cards.  So many of us ended up being sick or babysitter sicks that we just cancelled plans.  I still went to my best friends house and we did some last minute shopping and got food to make for her family and me and then planned a Sons of Anarchy marathon for us!!  The boys did not partake in this because SOA is definitely not kid friendly!!

My 2012....intentions?

I was trying to find a more suitable word for me to use rather than resolutions thinking maybe if I used a different word I would actually stick to it!  I looked it up and got these words--intentions, commitment, obligations....nothing else I would actually ever use!  So, intentions it is!!

1.  I intend to lose weight with my sisters before leaving for vacation.  We have a nice little competition planned!

2.  I intend to cook more at home instead of eating out or eating cereal for meals.

3.  I intend to get back in to the gym on a regular schedule but I'm really not looking forward to how crowded it's going to be in the beginning of the year.

4.  I intend to clean my house more often (I'm not a very good housekeeper...sorry mom)

5.  I intend to pay off more debt and build my savings account.

(5's enough, right??)

I didn't recap December because I feel like I would just be posting everything I just posted the last couple of weeks.....except for my best friend telling me the other day that they are having another

BABY!!!!  (I'm pretty sure she has told everybody she needs to and I'm pretty sure none of them read my blog!!) 

 I plan on doing a post on my New Years "Resolutions" (although I need a different word, I'm pretty sure I will be using a thesaurus soon). 

I hope everyone has a great New Years Eve celebration and be careful.  As someone at work said the other day, "NYE should be called amateur night, because people who don't normally go out do and usually drink way to much."  That's why we are hanging out with friends at their house, safe and sound!!!

Happy New Year!!!

I got to ring in the new year with some of my best friends last night.  We had tons of food, drinks and fun!  It was also our friends 30th birthday so we had to celebrate that as well.  We ate way too much then played a whole lot of Dance Central on Kinect!!  It was so much fun and a great workout!  I'm looking forward to a fabulous year!!!  Lindsay & Ty, the countdown is on!!!
