S0, yeah, I'm a slacker

I know...I've haven't hardly written anything worth anything in a long time.

I've been sort of keeping up with my weekend wrap-ups but that's about it.  I've totally been wanting to write but everything I come up with is either really sappy and sad or just fluff and no substance.  Then I think, who wants to read that stuff or do I want anybody reading this stuff?? 

Of course, I've still been reading my blogs, I'm still addicted.

I knew I didn't have a clue when I started this blog what it was going to be about.  It was just that I was reading so many blogs and I thought I should do it to!!

Hopefully one day I'm going to get back to this little blog and find something worth writing about, but it will probably be once this pretty summer is done and we're back to gloomy winter.

Sometimes: I workout either at home or at the gym

Always: This past month I've been a big lazy bum when it comes to working out

As I'm awake at 2:15 this morning when my alarm is set for 6:00 is a bit annoying...although I got totally caught up on all the blogs I've missed reading this week!

Is that normal??

1.  Is it normal to lie about your age??

I don't lie about my age, but I may start to after this year!!  I think that in my line of work people they I'm younger than what I actually am and I have no problem with that!!

2.  Is it normal to have mistaken someone for the opposite sex??

Yes, if the way they dress is questionable, but I would never say it to their face.

3.  Is it normal to go #2 in a public restroom??

Sure, if you gotta go, you gotta go!

4.  Is it normal to sit RIGHT NEXT TO a stranger at the movie theater??

N-O no!!  Please give me a little space!!

5.  Is it normal to lie about your weight??

Very few people are actually happy about their weight, so yes, it is the norm to lie about your weight!

6.  Is it normal to sing and dance in your car??

Yes, yes it is!!  I love to sing and dance and nobody is watching me in my car, right?!?

7.  Is it normal to take self-pictures in public??

Ummm, not of just myself but with me and my friends yes!

8.  Is it normal for women to have a gun license??

Not my norm but I'm sure many women do.

9.  Is it normal to post pictures online of yourself in your bikini??

I've done it.  We were at the river and another time at a birthday party.  It's not like I was strikin' a pose like I'm a model or something.

10.  Is it normal to like the smell of gasoline??

Yep!!

Craving salt.....why??

Isn't it a vitamin deficiency if you crave salt??  I started to google it and the things that I came up with not as easily defined as I was hoping so I just stopped looking!! 

Maybe it's not a craving and just the fact that I like it and right now I'm eating these.....just for the salty goodness!!

Can I blame craving chocolate on something too??  Like, craving solid milk chocolate with a crisp sugar shell?? 

Yep, these babies will not stay away from me.  I'm still only planning on having this one bag and I will as long as I stay out of Target until they are gone!!  HA!!

Anybody else crave salt and chocolate??

Confessional Friday

I confess....

that I OFFICIALLY PAID OFF MY CREDIT CARDS YESTERDAY!!!

I bought a pair of boys shoes from Target to wear to work.

I always buy new shampoo and conditioner way before my other is gone.

My scentsy warmer is on all the time, I can't even smell it anymore.

I have laundry in the dryer that needs to be folded now, I definitely don't want to have to iron it all!

I think I need to see the Hunger Games.....like now!!

Friends is on every night at 9 and 9:30....love when I'm home to watch it.

There is only 1 episode of One Tree Hill left and I'm not prepared for it yet.

When I see pictures of myself with my braces on I can't stand them, it will be so nice when they are off!!

I'm ready for a new Coach!!

Road crazies

Today on the way home from work....
after a very long night at work and I was so sleepy.  Most people know when I get sleepy (and/or hungry) I get rather grouchy!
I was driving along, minding my own business, when this red car started weaving in and out of traffic!  It was about 7:30 in the morning so there was a decent amount of traffic and evidently we were all driving a little to slow for this crazy lady.  The next thing I know I'm slamming on my brakes and honking my horn (like I'm the crazy one) to keep this lady from hitting me!!  Of course, she didn't even blink an eye but just sped off.  I wanted to speed up to catch up with her but I knew that was stupid.  I was just hoping I would pass her on the side of the road with a cop right behind her but unfortunately I did not.

Hope she made it to her destination on time!!

I'm off to finish Gossip Girl and read some more of The Hunger Games.

OH!!!  Did any of you all watch the One Tree Hill from yesterday??  WOWZA!!!  If you all still aren't watching this show....you are SERIOUSLY missing out!!  And, I have all 8 seasons so I would be glad to watch them with you!  

Miscellany Monday

one I'm still mostly eating soft foods.  My top teeth are much better than my bottom teeth, they feel so weird!
two I leave for the beach in -- weeks (I'm not sure of the countdown like my mom) and I am N.O.T. bathing suit ready!  I'm trying but then I fall off the wagon again!
three I bought a new pair of capri pants tonight.  I almost didn't because they weren't on sale but I knew if I waited they would be gone!  To my surprise, they were on sale!!  My total was much less than what I was expecting!!  SCORE!
four I'm so excited for "The Hunger Games" movie to come out March 23rd!!  I need to finish the book first.
five This warm weather makes me so happy!
six I gave myself a pedicure tonight, not nearly as pretty as the salon, but way nicer on my wallet!
seven I ordered some things from VS website the other day....they came in and I want to order more.  I checked and they didn't have any other ones available :(
eight I am so ready to turn the heat off and open the windows.
nine Cold feet are so annoying to me.
ten I'm thinking I'm gonna need to go see "Titanic" in 3D when it comes out.

Friday Fragments

I've never thought of myself as someone who can write.  I know I can write I just can't write well.  HA!  I was always told by my teachers that I write like I speak and I guess that is wrong.  It makes total sense to me that I would write that way, I love to talk and talk a lot!!

Anyway, as I'm sitting here tonight trying to go to sleep because I need to get up early for work tomorrow, I can't.  This happens a lot,  and I'm pretty sure it's just because I now work nights so my body is used to sleeping during the day and up at night.  It's good for work but not good for days off! 

The other night at work, one of the doctors was sitting down with us and talking.  We got on the subject of being pregnant at an older age.  Quite a few of us are in our mid to late 20's but only 2 of us are not married and don't have any kids.  He told us that we should really think about "freezing our eggs" and we all laughed!  Then, we really started thinking about it and realized that it might be a good idea.  He was telling me that if I decide to do it my eggs will be the age they are right now even if I don't use them till I'm 38.  It terrifies me to think that I won't be having a baby till then but it might happen.  I worry myself too much, I know (HI MOM!!)

I mostly sit in my room and watch TV anymore because it's always really late at night and all I watch is Gossip Girl.  Maybe that's why I don't sleep very well at night.  It's just so much more comfy and warm than the couch in the living room.  Speaking of couch, I can't wait to buy new furniture.  This is what I've been looking at but haven't found anywhere around here yet!

Yep, gray couch.  I know gray is very "popular" right now but it's also a neutral!!  I would love to pair it with something like these!

Yep and yellow accents!!  I'll be living here by myself so I figure why not make it girly but not pink, while I can!!  I plan to do all dark wood and lots of WHITE!!!  I can't wait to start actually finding stuff, that is my problem now!

What I'm Loving...

I'm loving Electra Moscato, my new favorite wine, the white more than the red!

I'm loving the sunshine we've gotten to see lately!

I'm loving the new 31 catalog that came out today!!

I'm loving that this is my weekend off! (I'm not loving so much that it is supposed to rain all weekend)

I'm loving my printables I've finally was able to print since I replaced my printer cartridge!!

I'm loving that it looks like it really is going to be a possibility for me to do something I've been wanting to do for myself for years!!!

I'm loving my new follower and comments!!  Love it!!

I'm loving diet coke once again, giving up caffeine is not smart for this night shift nurse!!  I'm sure my co-workers are happy I'm done giving it up!!

It's Ok

It's ok....that I went to Hob Lob today and bought absolutely nothing!  I went looking for stuff to make a new wreath for my front door and came up with nothing!

It's ok...that I put on comfy clothes the minute I walk in the door.

It's ok...that I'm just now starting to watch Parenthood

It's ok...that I color code my planner/calendar

It's ok...that I go to bed to watch tv just because I love my American Idol is on again tonight!!

It's ok...that I'm off work this weekend but I'm still working Friday night and Saturday during the day.

I'm baaaaack

YAY!!!  Not only did I get internet today, I also got my garage door opener in the mail!  Now, that may not seem very exciting to any of you, but I have lived here for 3ish weeks (maybe more, I don't want to get out my calendar and count) without a garage door opener!  That means, I had to get out of my car, unlock the front door and go through the garage and get back in my car and move my car in.  Geez, so excited I don't have to do that anymore!!!  (Doesn't take much to make me happy today, huh?)

Then I open up the rest of my mail and I got a "letter" (do I even call it that?) telling me my internet was hooked up Dec. 5th and I should have it the morning of the 6th!  Today is the 7th and when I plugged my internet box in, sure enough, I have internet!!  This makes me a very happy girl!  I have gone through withdrawal...Pinterest is just not the same on my iPhone! 

Ok, so now I can get back to regular posting and so looking forward to this weekend!!  I have some awesome parties/get togethers this weekend and will be back with LOTS 'O PICTURES!!!

As I'm watching Sex & the City (again) it makes me think about getting rid of the blonde....although my head doesn't need to be in the witness protection program like Carrie

I googled the correct usage when spelling blonde/blond....interesting....I like it better with the E on the end even if it's wrong

I'm pretty sure window air conditioning is almost as inconvenient as not having air conditioning!

Hated the fact that I walked into a store today and couldn't find one thing I like.....sad because it's one of my favorite stores to shop at :(

I was very disappointed when I had to watch my legs jiggle in the mirror tonight at my bodystep class at the gym....note to self, don't where anything but capris/pants to workout again!

So happy my new otterbox came in the mail today and UPS also brought me new 31 catalogs....I'm lovin' the new fall patterns!!

I'm so excited for my friends surprise 30th birthday party this weekend!

One of the guys I work with at the restaurant and I were talking today about how many people don't like to do laundry....and probably don't even have to leave their house to do it...I bet they would hate it more if they had to pack up every time!!  I'm going to love doing laundry when I move!!

And the fact that I'll have a garage too!!

And definitely central heating and air....no more inconvenient A/C!
