Weekend Wrap-Up

Friday
I got up at 5:30 so I could get ready to go work at the restaurant.  It was the earliest I've gotten up in a long time and it was rough!  I made it through the day,  a very good day, then went to the mall for a little shopping.  I got some good deals, especially on my red dress for the Ravishing in Red party later on this month.  I'm so excited I get to go!!  I came home and watched some tv and the next thing I know it was 8 o'clock and I had been sleeping on my couch for who knows how long!!  I stayed up way late that night too because of the nap on the couch!

Saturday
My plan was to sleep in but my phone had other plans!!  Even though I had it turned down pretty low I kept hearing it go off for some reason or another.  I eventually got up and got ready for the catering job I had that afternoon.  The catering job went well and I got to eat great food!!  After we were done I went by the mall to go by JCPenney to look for a dress for an upcoming wedding and found 2 great dresses.....ON CLEARANCE!!  I love a good bargain!!  

Now just to decide which one to wear!



I came home because I had a horrible headache and just wanted to lay down, so that's exactly what I did.  Pretty boring Saturday night but at least my headache went away.

Sunday
My BFF sent me a text saying she was planning on shopping today and was wondering if I wanted to go with, of course I did!!  We headed to the mall and did quite a bit of shopping, more her than me.  She found a super cute outfit to wear the that Ravishing in Red party!!!  We found lots of jewelry we liked at Charming Charlies but once we got it home and tried it on with the stuff we were planning on wearing it with we didn't like it as much.  On the way home I got a call from work and got standby!  This is the first time since April because I've been on orientation!  I ate an awesome dinner at Niki's then headed home. 

Weekend Wrap-Up

Friday
I had a hair appointment at 9:45 and love my even more blond hair do!!  I love being a blonde!!!  I spent the rest of the day at home then went to my nail appointment at 3.  It was so pretty all day but didn't have anything good to do outside.  Spent the rest of the evening at home...watching One Tree Hill.  Such an interesting life, I know.

Saturday
**1 WEEK**
Woke up way to early.  Spent a little time at the gym then got ready for a catering job that night.  The catering job was a lot of fun and the food was so good, as always!!  After that I went to Niki's house and then we all went to Runge's to watch the fight.  I learned what GSP meant....haha!! 

Sunday
Went to church then came home and watched a movie, "The Switch" with Jennifer Aniston.  It was really good.  I'm pretty sure it came out last year or maybe even the year before that.  I called the lady who was altering my bridesmaid dress and finally got ahold of her so I went and picked that up.  I was very happy to try it on and see that it fit....finally.  Now just spending the rest of this rainy Sunday on my couch and packing for the upcoming week and all the festivities!!!  Next weekends weekend wrap-up will be much more eventful and packed FULL of pictures!!

Weekend Wrap-Up

Friday
I stayed home all day (surprising, I know) and then went to pick Tucker up from school and take him home.  Brooke and I had plans to go to Paducah to shop so I got him and she picked Kelley Jo up and we met back at their house to get ready.  I got to give Kelley Jo her bath and get her dressed and ready to go.  She's like my little baby doll sometimes!! 

We finally got on the road and talked the whole way there of course!  We knew where our first stop would be...

Chick-fil-A!!  An actual restaurant was just built recently and we were so excited to go!!  They've had one in the mall for a long time and of course it's still there.  This was the kid's first time to eat there and they both loved it!  After that we went to Old Navy.  They had a few good deals and then when we went to check out you got an extra 20% off if you let out a big scream...so I did but had to do it a 2nd time because the 2 guys that were working the register said the 1st one wasn't good enough!  Anything to same a little bit of money!  We then went to the mall and the only thing I bought there was dippin' dots and a bottle of water!  We were a pretty tired bunch once we got back in the car.  Tucker was all cuddled up with his blanket and watching a movie and Kelley Jo was out in no time!

Saturday

I stayed home pretty much all day today as well until I went to my catering job.  This wedding was beautiful and very "fall"ish (good word huh?)

I got home pretty early so I did some more NCLEX questions.  Pretty exciting Saturday night huh?  All well, it will be worth it after Wednesday.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

I went to church this morning and found out about a brunch that they are holding next Saturday for the women.  Deana said she heard about it last Sunday, so we are going to go.  I'm hoping to get to meet some more people.  The rest of the day I spent cleaning up, doing dishes, making potato soup for the week, ironing and doing 100's on NCLEX questions.  I'm looking forward to good news this week.  I would appreciate prayers for when I take boards Wednesday.  I evidently have major test anxiety and I don't want it to get the best of me when I go to take the test again so if you could fit me into your prayers I would appreciate it!!  Hope everybody has a great week!!
