Weekend Wrap-Up

Friday
Niki and I had plans to go to Paducah to shop today so I got up super early and headed down to her house so we could get the maximum shopping time in!  She had a list and we conquered it!!  I had a free panty coupon for Victoria's Secret so of course I got that and couldn't pass up using the $10 off a bra coupon either....it had matching panties!!  Love a good matching set!!  I worked there while in college so I've been a little obsessed with matching since then!  We ate at Chick-Fil-A in the mall and then went to ColdStone Creamery.  Niki had never been there and had gotten a gift card for Christmas.  She got some chocolate peanut butter kind and I got mint brownie chip something and it was AMAZING!!!  It was a fun day!

I had to work at 4 that afternoon at the restaurant.  I hung out with some friends after that.  One of them bought a new house so he had people over.  I didn't take a single picture of all of us.  It was supposed to be a St. Patty's day party  and of course my cute hat I had was at home and I didn't want to drive back to get it.  All well, I'll keep it for next year.

Saturday

We made plans last night to go eat at BWW's this afternoon and watch the IU ball game.  I haven't gotten to watch very many of the games and I probably shouldn't have watched this one because they lost.  I ran to get some groceries and do a little bit of shopping.  Dillard's had some sales and I tried on some dresses for the 2 weddings I have this spring but unfortunately didn't find anything I liked.  I did finally find the BabyLips chapstick. 

I came home and watched LOST.  I had really wanted to go out but that didn't happen.  All well, maybe next weekend! Oh....I found these this weekend at Target....so good!!!

Sunday

I met my friend Lacy and her family for lunch in Paducah.  We went to Olive Garden and it was so good.  I hadn't eaten there in a while.  We hung out at there house for a while and caught each other up on what's been going on in our lives.  It rained cats and dogs the whole day, the drive to and from was awful!  I've had new windshield wipers in my trunk for a couple of months now and still haven't gotten them put on yet.  I tried to do it myself when I bought them but that was a complete fail. HA!

Weekend Wrap-Up

Friday
I worked all day at the restaurant.  I woke up at 3:30 that morning thinking I overslept and couldn't go back to sleep so I started watching "The Carrie Diaries".  Have any of you watched it??

I love it!!!  I've always been a big fan of shows on the CW (hello...I'm a One Tree Hill fanatic) and I think this is going to be another fave!!  Work was so busy!!  My feet were killing me by the end of the day but not so much so that I couldn't do a little shopping!!  HA!!  I went to Target and found some great clearance deals!!  I had my eye on these beauties for a while but didn't know when I would actually wear them....

Still no idea when I'm going to wear them, but I'll find something!!

After shopping, I ran home and changed my clothes then went to hang out with Niki. 

 

Saturday

I was up early and worked 6-2 at the restaurant and came home to take a nap.  I ended up watching some TV then fell asleep.  I didn't have any plans so that was pretty much my night!  #lame

 

Sunday

I got up and cleaned some around my house then watched the end of season 6 of Army Wives.  Now I have to wait till season 7 comes on Netflix!!  I watched some more shows that I wanted to catch up on.  I did some laundry and paid some bills then started watching Nashville finally!!  Ooooh, that show is good!!  Now I'm getting ready for work the next 3 days and then on Friday I finally get my hair done!!  It's been 11 weeks since I've had it done last because my hairdresser has been on maternity leave!!  I've been wearing it curly everyday because that's about the only thing I can do with it right now and I'm actually loving it!!  If I can remember to take a picture of it I will!

Weekend Wrap-Up

Friday
I got up early and met Niki so we could do some shopping!!  We ran quite a few errands and got to eat lunch.  I had a shirt to return at Maurice's after she went on home then I went to get my car washed.  It was filthy!!  I went to Niki's that night to hang out and eat dinner.  I was falling asleep on the couch early and when the movie that we were watching was over I headed on home to go to bed.

Saturday
I slept in for a little bit then got up and got ready to meet some friends at the winery.

After the second winery, Runge & I left to meet some other friends at BWW for dinner for our friend Kristen's birthday.  Some of our other friends were at another local restaurant and their wait was an hour for 4 people...we had a group of 20 and got seated right away...so what else were we to do but send them pictures of our yummy food!!!  HA!!

After we all sat around and talked, we decided to go out.  The bar we decided to go to was packed and had a really good band playing.   We had a good time, danced and talked. 

 

Sunday

I slept the day away pretty much and got nothing done today unless you count watching a lot of Army Wives and regular Sunday night shows something??!!??  I work the next 3 days so I should have done lots today....all well, I guess it will be here when I'm done with my work week!!

Weekend Wrap-Up

Friday
I spent Friday running errands like getting my nails done and trying to get a few more Christmas gifts bought.  I did and then I headed to work for the night. 

Saturday
I slept most of the day and felt good when I woke up.  I cleaned my kitchen then started getting ready for work.  They called and offered me standby so I took it.  I then proceeded to see if anything was going on tonight so I could maybe hang out with friends instead of sit at home by myself!  HA!!  I went to town to get a few groceries the I hung out with Deana and her family for the night.  I hadn't seen Elly in forever so I was happy to get to see them all!
Today was my nieces 13th birthday and my other nieces first high school Christmas dance.  I missed them both but was sent pictures so that made me happy!
Sunday
It was raining when I woke up and continued to rain all day long.  I cleaned up my living room and wrapped some more presents.  I have started watching Gossip Girl since I got the first 3 seasons the day after Thanksgiving for cheap.  I'm half way through the second season and I am loving it!!  I'm pretty sure I will be getting some type of satellite soon because it's the last season of One Tree Hill and it starts in January.  I'll have to have it before then!!

Only 20 more days till Christmas....and I am so excited!!

I guess I don't really watch that much TV anymore because I really only have 1 channel and no DVR anymore...still love it though!!  And I do have blockbuster in the mail so I watch a lot of TV shows on DVD and one day I will get satellite again!

So excited about.....

Season 7 of this!!!

I've been watching since the beginning....remember when it was on Sunday nights??  I used to watch this with Janelle when it first started and we lived in our Goreville apartment, I'm pretty sure we had boyfriends that watched it with us although they probably wouldn't admit it!  Then a group of us would get together after we got off work at KB's and watch it usually at Cody & Seth's house on Thursday nights.  Then I watched it by myself because everybody's life just got busy and it just didn't work out where we could all get together.  I was invited to watch it at a friends house tonight but after working 4 days straight this week I told her I might not be very good company!! 

Also, has anybody else looked at the forecast for this weekend???  B-E-A-UTIFUL FALL WEATHER we are going to be having!!
