Weekend Wrap-Up (July 10-12)

 Of course we walked downtown that Friday evening when I got there.  There was all kinds of cool stuff going on down there.  We grabbed us a little something to eat and then went to the coffee shop.  My favorite place to stop at downtown!

Lindsay, Cruz & I went to Hobby Lobby and TJMaxx and I found this awesome adult coloring book!  We went to some ballgames too and had some awesome sushi for lunch with friends.  It was a fun weekend.

4th of July

We started off the weekend right Friday with a little swimming and taco nachos with margaritas!

Niki & I got up early and headed to Chesterfield to shop before Dawson's game.  Vera Bradley was our first stop and the sale was amazing!!!  We shopped for a few hours then headed to the ball game.

And you can see Edmonds ex-wife sitting in the stands...the blonde in the orange dress right where Dawson's right elbow is!  I tried to get pictures of Holliday & Edmonds but never got that lucky.  A little girl the day before got to take selfie with Holliday!!

Weekend Wrap-Up~Charity Ball

Friday

It rained and rained and rained today.  I didn't know if it was ever going to end!!  Niki and I ran errands all day and the only good thing was the fact that we were cute rain boots and found all kinds of good stuff at TJMaxx!!  That place is either all or nothing for me!!  I came home and layed around for a bit until I had to get ready for my date.  It was still raining but at least it had slowed down a little bit.  Deana called me on my way out the door, I talked to her pretty much the whole way up there.  Hopefully I'll get to hang out with her and the girls sometime this week!  J and I met at Chili's for dinner and had talked about going bowling after.

My return snapchat to a friend who sent me a picture of her baby niece that said "isn't she presh?" and I said the same thing!!  So cute!!  He's looking up reviews on movies that we hadn't seen yet, which was only 1 or 2. 

I finished my drink while he was doing that!  These things are too good!!

We ended up going to see "The 2nd Best Exotic Marigold Hotel" and I liked it but he didn't.  It was a love story with Kevin Costner in it, how could I not love it??  He was annoyed by the main guy's voice!  We were both so tired after the movie we decided to call it a night and head our separate ways.  Dating long distance isn't always so fun but I'll take it for the time being!!  I'm pretty sure he's worth it!!

Saturday

I was up early and went to spin class and met my friend Amanda there.  Our friend Lucy was there also, it was like an OB nurse workout class!!  Haha!!  Everytime I go to that class I remember how much I don't like it, until it's done and I like the way I feel after!!  Feel the burn!!  I came home and lounged around and tried to take a little nap till it was time for get ready for the masquerade ball!!!

Sunday

I wanted to sleep in but that didn't happen.  I'm lucky if I sleep till 7 anymore!!  I got up and it was so pretty outside I just wanted to enjoy it!!  I opened up the blinds and started cleaning!!  Haha!!  I went to Target and to get my car washed.  I love that I found these for my Easter eggs!!

I worked all day then went to hang out with Niki that night. 

 

Saturday

I got up early and went to the gym for pump class, ran some quick errands then came home and mowed the grass.  1242 calories burned later I was done!  I then went to watch Dawson play some ball at one of the local parks.  It had been raining off and on that afternoon but it did quit long enough for his team to get two games in and win both.  I went back to their house, they grilled out and we watched the new movie Thor and I made turtle brownies.....they were so yum!!

 

Sunday

Some girls from work had plans to go to the winery today.  The weather was perfect!!

We spent the day soaking up the sun, drinking wine, eating snacks, sending way too many snapchats, people watching, talking about work, singing along with the one woman band and just having a good time!!!  These kinds of Sunday's are my favorite!!

 



Weekend Wrap-Up

Friday

I was up nice and early even though I was so exhausted when I went to bed last night.  I worked 4 days in a row and I know that doesn't seem like much but 12 hour days when it's busy having babies born all day.....I was beat!!  I went to the sports complex behind my house and walked and ran a little bit even and ended up burning 493 calories in less than an hour!!

I came home and got ready to run to town to run some errands.  It was such a beautiful day!!  I enjoyed every minute of it!!  I finished up and headed down to Niki's to hang out with her for a while.  We played outside for a while with Ryker and took a walk around her loop.  I headed home a little later that night and crashed.

 

Saturday

I got up and went and did almost 3 miles again this morning.  I came home and got some stuff ready to go back down to Niki's to keep an eye on Ryker so his mom and dad could get some things done around their house.  I had volunteered myself to stain the deck but that didn't happen.  I hung out with this guy all day and boy was he busy!!  He loves to play some ball and right after I took this picture I got hit in the ear with what he has in his hand!!



We played some more and then eventually went in the back yard to play and he wanted to swing and this is how that ended up......

It didn't last very long though, once I tried to get him out of there he woke up and was mad I was taking him inside.  He stayed awake a little while longer then finally about 2 hours later he sat on my lap and fought me for about 2.5 seconds and he was out!!  They had friends over that night and we all sat around and ate chips and dip and brownies, drank some drinks and played cards.  It was a fun night and I didn't take one single picture!

 

Sunday

I slept in a little and didn't end up going to church....woops!  I cleaned up my room with the windows open and started laundry.  The rain came in and I thought it was going to last all day but didn't.  I went to walk/run again today and then came home to finish up some housework before I start my work week tomorrow. 

 

Finally beat this stupid level!!  I think I was stuck on this one for a couple weeks!

Weekend Wrap-Up

Friday

Hair day!!  I love to get my hair done!  One of the other stylist's that works at the salon kept complimenting my hair about how it was so shiny and was curling so well, have I ever mentioned how great my hair stylist is??  She is the best!!  I then met my friend and her daughter for lunch.

I love how sassy she is!!

We ate at O'Charley's, I love soup and salad there!!  After there, we ran a few errands and every place was so crowded because of it being Super Bowl weekend and we were supposed to get some snow again.  She picked out that cute jacket she is wearing in the picture (that picture was taken Sunday before church) and just had to have it!!  I did a little more shopping after they went home and then headed home myself.  I got caught up on some shows and went to bed early.

 

Saturday

I was up early and decided to go to the gym.  They have my favorite class on Saturday's at 7:00 but I just can't seem to get up that early to go!  There was a spin class at 9:00 so I went to that and it was packed!!  I guess everybody and still trying to hold on to the resolutions they made!!  I came home and made the mistake to start watching "The Good Wife" and I loved it!!  I watched it pretty much all day, besides taking a short nap!!

 

Sunday

I got up and went to the gym again!!  Yay me!!  I was going to my best friends house to watch the Super Bowl, so I went to the store to get a few things that we were wanting for junk food.  Her husbands only request was sausage and cheese wontons and I had to go to 2 different stores to get all the stuff and this is how they turned out....

At least we had a ton of other really good food!!
