We started off the weekend right Friday with a little swimming and taco nachos with margaritas!

Niki & I got up early and headed to Chesterfield to shop before Dawson's game.  Vera Bradley was our first stop and the sale was amazing!!!  We shopped for a few hours then headed to the ball game.

Weekend Wrap-Up

Friday

J & I were supposed to have a date tonight but he had a last minute meeting put on his schedule for that afternoon and it ended going way later than what he thought.  He was 2 hours away from Mt. Vernon at 6:30, so that was making it 8:30 before we could meet and we decided to just push our date back to next week.  I ended up going to Niki's for the evening and we painted nails and ended up watching some movie!

 

Saturday

I got up and went to the gym then came home and got ready to go to some of Dawson's ball games.

I came home and my yard was mowed!!  My neighbors were gonna help me get my lawn mower going but the grass was so tall she went ahead and mowed it with her riding mower!!  I am so lucky to have such great neighbors!!  Hopefully the weather will be nice enough this weekend so I can mow Saturday.  

Sunday

I slept in way later than what I expected!!  I got up and got ready for a baby shower and took some selfies....haha!!  I know they say it's some kind of a disorder to take selfies but I don't care!!  It's my phone, my blog, and I can post if I want too!!

YAY!!!  I ordered some knock-off shoes from Target and had them shipped to my friend Becca for her to monogram!!  I can't wait!!!

Last Weekend's Wrap-Up

Friday

I had a day at home to clean and do laundry then I packed up my car and headed to O'town for my sisters. My BFF and her family were also going there for a ball tournament.  I got to Lindsay's house just as she was getting home as well.  We ate dinner at Chick-Fil-A that night and it was dress like a cow day and get a free chicken sandwich...it was hilarious!  We didn't dress up as cows but most of the people did and it was really cute!  We came back to her house and watched a movie then went to bed.

Saturday

We got up and headed to the ball park for the first of many games that weekend.  Mom, Michelle and Maddie came over and Danielle & Jeremiah came a little later.

We watched the two ball games that he played that day then we went to get something to eat at a local BBQ place.  Mom brought cupcakes to celebrate since Niki's birthday was tomorrow.  Mom, Michelle and Maddie left after lunch.  Danielle & Jeremiah came back to Lindsay's with us and hung out for a while.  Lindsay & I met Niki and them out for dinner and then we all headed back home so we could get some sleep before another full day of ballgames.

He was eating spaghetti at Olive Garden and dropped so much on his white uniform that they made him a napkin bib!!

After lunch, we went back to the ball field and watched a few more games before his team actually played again.  They played their little hearts out but lost to a team that beat them the last time they were here for a tournament.  This team was awesome!!  We all went our separate ways.  I headed back to IL to get stuff from my house to go house sit for the week.
