Totally Random

As I'm awake at 2:15 this morning when my alarm is set for 6:00 is a bit annoying...although I got totally caught up on all the blogs I've missed reading this week!

This is definitely a bullet point type of post!

• I didn't blog all week
• I've worked a little to much for my liking this week
• I am so excited for next weekend--bachelorette party festivities will be had
• I'm kind of obsessed with Friends right now....I love them
• My laptop is so slow....that iMac is really calling my name
• Have you all heard of the new perfume....Hippie Chic??

•  I just got up and put my grapes in the freezer...after reading about frozen grapes on

• I'm horrible at grocery shopping lately
• Target clearance....love it
• Dress-Target  Belt-Charlotte Russe  And now I see that it needed to be thrown in the dryer for a couple minutes to get those wrinkles out!
• I'm going to be so tired at work in 2 hours
• Night shift screws me up so bad on regular days
• I'm so hungry....breakfast at the restaurant is going to be so good!
• I have so many drafts started....not because I plan on posting them, but because I also use this blog as a journal

Frog legs....I don't know how crazy that is to anyone else, but it was for me!  Didn't like them either!

I can't think of any, I'm not that picky of an eater!

Football games & bonfires

Not really.  I've been to some football games around here but not regularly.

The pumpkin patch....not that I've actually gone

Weekend Wrap-Up

Friday
Today was my last day of my stretch off and I had quite a bit I wanted to get done.  I've been watching Pretty Little Liars on netflix and totally got caught up in watching it.  I finally got up and got ready and ran to town.  I needed groceries and some other things.  After I got home, I texted by BFF to see how her little boy was doing after getting his tonsils and adenoids removed the day before.  She said he was feeling pretty bad but didn't want me to bring him anything.  The only thing he told me he wanted that would make him feel better was money!!  That kid is a mess!!  I brought him a get well card with money in it and I got a huge smile for it!! 

Saturday
I slept off and on all day so I would be nice and rested up to start my first night of 5 in a row.  I got up and got ready then headed in for a fun night of work!!

Sunday
I did not sleep well today and I know I will pay for that tonight at work, maybe I can take a little nap before I need to get in the shower.  Hope you all had a great weekend!!

Sunday Social {Week 8}

1.  What is your dream job??  I have my dream job!!  I'm a labor and delivery nurse and I love it!!  It's the job I've wanted all my life!!

2.  If you had just won the lottery and didn't need to work for money, what would you do with your time??  I would take a HUGE vacation and fly different people at different times out to be with me!!  I would buy houses and cars and set up college funds and retirement funds and so much more for people that are close to me!!  I've thought about this a time or 2 :) Maybe I should start buying a ticket!

3.  When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up??  A baby nurse!  When I was 5, my mom asked me and my little sister what we wanted to be when we grew up.  I answered with "a baby nurse" and my little sister answered with "a cow"!!  Our favorite aunt and uncle had a dairy farm and we're pretty sure this is where that came from!!  Love ya Linds!!

4.  What piece of career advice would you give to someone just starting out in your field??  Ask questions!!  Chart everything....if you don't chart it, you didn't do it!!

5.  Biggest pet peeves either in life, in blogging or at work:  People who lie, misspelled words, several fb status updates in a row about what you are doing, slow internet

6.  Biggest fears:  Not getting married and not getting to have babies, drowning

Weekend Wrap-Up

Friday
This week was so crazy busy for me!!  I left work late and then went to Hobby Lobby to get a few last minute things for the shower.  I got home so I could sleep for a few hours then got up and started do some finishing up of decorations and food.  The 3 of us that were hosting the shower met up at the place so we could go ahead and decorate.  That was so nice, it let us be a little less stressed about tomorrow.  We realized we needed some more table cloths and other random items.  After we took {3 hours} to decorate I went to see Niki at her mom's house.  She needed help on what to wear to the shower.  We hung out there for a little bit and then I went home.  I still had so much to do!!

Saturday
I was up at 8 so I could finish up some food and then get ready to head down to the shower.  We used up the entire 2 hours before the shower that we were there!  It turned out so well!!!

The shower was done and after all the cleanup we were all exhausted!!  I went back to Niki's house to help her unload and go through everything (I didn't get to actually see much of what she got since I was writing everything down).  We had so much fun going through it all!!  We left and went to her mom and dad's to hang out because the a/c at their house is broken. 

Sunday

After coming home last night and cleaning some, I slept in pretty late!! I had quite a bit more cleaning to do today so I got to it.  One of my best friends, Lacy, texted me that afternoon.  On her way home from St. Louis with her family, they were making a pit stop in Marion.  I met them and got to hang out with them for about an hour.  It was such a nice surprise!!  After that, it was more cleaning then I watched the Bachelorette!!!  I <3 1F Jef!!!
