Lindsay's Baby Shower Weekend

Friday
It was hair day and then it was time to head home for Lindsay's shower weekend!! I can't believe it's already here. We've only been planning it since September when we didn't even know boy or girl yet!! We went ahead and had two ideas just in case. I love love love the shower theme!! I found one picture on Pinterest and ran with it!! I wish I would have taken more pictures of it all!! I met Michelle at the nail salon to get our nails done and then finally made it home. I talked to mom for a little bit then had to go run some last minute errands. Luckily the main roads were clear, the side roads on the other hand were awful still! I made it just fine though, Michelle and I got all the last minute stuff done! Lindsay came over after work to stay the night and she got there right after I got back. Mom made dinner so we sat there and ate and talked.

Saturday
We all got up pretty early and the weather was so nasty. Rain on top of all this snow we already had was not good. Some people were unable to drive in because of it but we still have a large turnout.

After the shower, my car was packed full!!!

I helped deliver all the gifts to Lindsay's house because not everything would fit in one car. That baby sure is blessed by all our friends and family!! We all can't wait to meet him!! He is spoiled already!! I didn't stay and hang out very long because the temperature was dropping and I was worried about the roads! I made it home just fine and was completely exhausted!! The driveway sucked also and I wasn't about to try to leave and have to drive back up there!!

Sunday

We all went to YMCA Pancake days this morning for pancakes and sausage. We came back, I loaded up my car and headed back to IL. Now it's time for the Oscars!!!

Weekend Wrap-Up (Feb. 13-15)

Friday

Oh Valentine's day weekend, a weekend I haven't enjoyed in years. Well, this year, that changes!

Can we please have Galentine's Day every year!?!

My BFF and I went to see 50 shades of grey with her mom and some of her friends that afternoon. Of course, the theater was packed and there were quite a few laughs and snickers! Everybody has their opinion about this movie and that is fine. I read the books, I went to see the movie and I will go see the next two as well!!

I get home and found this beauty on my front doorstep!!

I ordered it Tuesday from the Surprise sale and had it by Friday afternoon!!

I changed out my purses, changed my clothes and got ready for a date!!

I drove up to his house for a day early Valentine's day date. He had the night planned, we went to a movie at a theater where we sat in leather recliners and then went downtown for dinner. It was so great!!

I got up and went to body pump to start the day. I came home and worked on things for Lindsay's baby shower next weekend. I took a little nap and then went to Niki's house for the evening. There was a basketball game that night against the rival team, so we went to that.

I did a little shopping at Dillard's today. I went in just for makeup and maybe a dress for a charity ball next month and came out with makeup, no dress and these Sperry's.

Then I went to Target to get some things for the week and saw this....

Weekend Wrap-Up (Feb. 6-8)

Friday

I was on standby from work all day. I don't know the last time I've had a whole day of standby!! I left at about 4 to head to Evansville for the weekend. I stopped to get my nails done then went to get a baby shower gift.

Saturday

I got up and got ready to meet Niki at the Tri-State spelling bee that her oldest son was in. After his test we went to eat lunch. We went to Hacienda to eat lunch.

My favorite!!! Ranch, salsa and chips!!

We went back to the spelling bee to see how he did on the test. He didn't make it on to the oral bee. They went on home and I went to the baby shower.

After the baby shower, Danielle, Jeremiah and Parker came back to the house so we all could hang out and talk for a little bit. We had made plans to go out for our cousins birthday that night.

January Wrap-Up

I'm going to try really hard to get back to regularly scheduled blogging but I just don't know if I will or not. We'll see!! I'm just gonna have to wrap up January and then maybe get back to weekly blogging again! Also, I am doing this on my iPad because I think my laptop has finally bit the dust....have to get a new one of those soon, especially with school starting back in March! I'm so slow at typing on the iPad 😜

Happy New Year

New Years Eve!! Niki had a hair appointment so I met her out to do some shopping. Her mom met us also and we went to Chili's to eat. We ordered the tropical sunrise margaritas....OMG!! So good!!!
