Weekend Wrap-Up

Friday
I'm really late posting this but all well!  Friday night I met Janelle and Chad for dinner and drinks.  I hadn't seen Janelle in months so it was so great getting to hang out with her and catch up.  Chad was a little late.....just about an hour!  We stayed for a while and when Janelle had to go home, Chad and I went to get some drinks and watch the end of the game.  CARDINALS WIN!!!  We were rather excited!!! 

Saturday
I worked at the restaurant all day so I figured it would probably be a good idea if I took a nap before going out that night. There were 2 Halloween parties I was going with my friends to.  I had no idea what I was going to dress up as so Niki told me I could just go as a cop like she was, so I went out and bought the costume.  I got up, got ready then headed to Niki & Michael's.  We got ready and headed to the first party where these pictures were taken.....

You can tell by my eyes that I am way tired!

We left this party not to long after and went to the second party.  We got there still dressed up and decided it was time to change into regular clothes!!  It was fun getting to hang out with those friends.  On our way home we stopped by another bar because Chad was there.  Mike and Niki stayed in the car so I just ran in real quick to say hi.  I was happy to come home and go to bed!!!

**Oh, while I was at work Saturday I got a phone call telling me that I get to move!!!  I am going to be renting a house!!!  More info on that when I get it!!

Sunday

I slept till I couldn't sleep anymore!!  I got up and packed some things that I won't be using anytime soon!!  I'm a little excited about getting out of this "itty bitty living space"!!  What movie is that from??  HA!!!  Took a little nap then headed off to work.....the start of a very busy week, hence being so MIA from the blog!!  Of course, I found plenty of time to read them!!

As I'm watching Sex & the City (again) it makes me think about getting rid of the blonde....although my head doesn't need to be in the witness protection program like Carrie

I googled the correct usage when spelling blonde/blond....interesting....I like it better with the E on the end even if it's wrong

I'm pretty sure window air conditioning is almost as inconvenient as not having air conditioning!

Hated the fact that I walked into a store today and couldn't find one thing I like.....sad because it's one of my favorite stores to shop at :(

I was very disappointed when I had to watch my legs jiggle in the mirror tonight at my bodystep class at the gym....note to self, don't where anything but capris/pants to workout again!

So happy my new otterbox came in the mail today and UPS also brought me new 31 catalogs....I'm lovin' the new fall patterns!!

I'm so excited for my friends surprise 30th birthday party this weekend!

The worst part about finishing a book is the fact that it's over and you have to start a new one, all over again

One of the guys I work with at the restaurant and I were talking today about how many people don't like to do laundry....and probably don't even have to leave their house to do it...I bet they would hate it more if they had to pack up every time!!  I'm going to love doing laundry when I move!!

And the fact that I'll have a garage too!!

And definitely central heating and air....no more inconvenient A/C!

I got an......

APARTMENT!!! Yeah!!! I hope this isn't premature b/c she hasn't actually called yet to tell me when I can move in but hopefully it will be tomorrow! I am so so so excited to have my own place! Don't get me wrong I 100% appreciate Mike and Niki for letting me stay with them all summer (way longer than what we were both expecting) but I am so ready to have my own place! Let me tell you, living out of your duffel bags is rough, although I was very lucky to have a closet to hang up my clothes. I am so excited to have a dresser again and I will be able to put my makeup on the counter in my bathroom (although I don't think it actually has a counter, pretty much just a sink) but all well I don't care....it will be mine!! As soon as I get in and settled I will post some pictures...its small so there will just be a few...haha! I don't care, I am SO EXCITED!!

It is coming just in time too. I start back to school August 20th. I just have to go one day a week so it's not gonna be that bad. I also scheduled my boards for next wednesday at 2:00 so keep your fingers crossed please! I am starting the studying tonight. I'll let you know how it goes!

So, for an update on Heather. She is improving everyday. They are wanting her to be able to swallow well so they can take the trach out. They are giving her different medications to help her wake up some more and one of the meds she is getting is making her have an allergic reaction so they are giving her benadryl for that. I think that is kinda funny b/c benadryl knocks most people out and they are giving her something to help wake her up! Sounds like they are doing things that are counteracting! Everybody keep praying....it's working!

UPDATE!

Ok, time to update!
Yes, I am still living in IL and will be till I finish school next spring now. Then I will probably still be there another year after that to work out my contract I have with SIH. I am ok with this for the time being. I am doing better now and know that I will be fine living here.
I still have my sad days and it's sometimes rough but I try not to spend to much time by myself and that helps a lot. The time in the car is usual the hardest b/c my radio doesn't work so all I do is think. I try to talk on the phone to make the time pass quicker!
I am in the process of trying to find a place to live....it is slim pickens when you can't afford anything! haha...I am trying!
I have applied for an LPN job at Herrin hospital and I'm just waiting to here from them to set up an interview. Hopefully that will work out soon! School starts in august and I just have to take one class so hopefully I will able to work a lot!
My Birthday is in a week....27....whoa! It's hard to believe I'll already be 27....so much was supposed to be done by now. Craziness!
